Mystery surrounds a woman who walked out of hospital in St Leonards and hasn't been seen since.

Medical staff are concerned for the health of the woman who left the Conquest Hospital at 11.37pm yesterday.

She gave her name as Georgina Brown from Haywards Heath but refused to give other details.

Police say she may require urgent medical treatment.

Anyone who knows her or where she might be is asked to email 101@sussex.pnn.police.uk or call 101 quoting serial 1768 of 13/08.

If she is unwell or in need of immediate medical attention, please dial 999 straight away.
