A 76-year-old woman was bitten by a dog, suffering a cut and bruising.
The victim was going to a newsagents in Silchester Road, St Leonards, when she was bitten on her leg by a brown or tan-coloured Staffie-type dog that was tied up outside.
The dog owner came out the shop and left with his pet. He is described as a slim white man, aged 20 to 25.
