The owners of a dog who bit a three-year-old girl in a county park are being sought by police.
The girl was walking with her mother in the park walking their dog when a black and white border collie bit the child on the leg at Fire Hills, in Hastings Country Park, at about 5pm on July 19.
PC Aydin Misiri said: "We have so far been unable to trace the owner of the border collie despite us having made inquiries in the area.
"We need to speak to the dog owner about what happened. If you saw the incident or have any information at all, please contact us."
Anyone with information should email 101@sussex.pnn.police.uk quoting serial 1483 of 19/07, call 101 or contact the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
