A small rear window was smashed on a silver Mitsubishi Lancer at about 1.10am on August 17 and thieves stole the stereo, sat nav system and a tablet device.
Two people were seen acting suspiciously near to the car in Medina Terrace, St Leonards, before it was broken into. They ran off when they were disturbed by a resident.
The first suspect was a white man who was about 6ft. He was wearing a red hooded top with grey jogging bottoms.
The second suspect was in the shadows and was not seen clearly.
