A fire in the roof of a property saw six fire engines called to the scene this morning (Tuesday).
The loft blaze at a residential property in Manor Lane, Selsey, near Chichester, saw dozens of West Sussex Fire and Rescue crew battling large flames from about 12.10am.
Fire fighters used four high-pressure jets, eight sets of breathing aparatus and two thermal imaging cameras.
The cause of the fire is not yet known. Investigators are returning to the site this morning to re-inspect the site.
