Meeting on hospital
UNION leaders will host a public meeting on the future of a hospital they claim is being “managed to ruin”.
The GMB is inviting residents to a meeting at 7pm on Thursday on the future of Eastbourne District General Hospital at the Eastbourne Centre in Grand Parade.
Organisers claim wards are closing at the hospital, services are being removed and staff are being redeployed without consultation.
