Lord’s ‘no’ to Scotland
A SUSSEX lord has headed north to fight for the retention of the union.
Steve Bassam spent yesterday morning campaigning for the ‘no’ vote with Labour MP for Edinburgh East Sheila Gilmore in the lead up to the Scottish independence referendum on September 18.
Lord Bassam of Brighton said on his Twitter page that he enjoyed terrific doorstep debates with residents.
