Two cars were damaged by fire overnight in a deliberate attack.
Firefighters were called to the scene in in Downlands Avenue, Bexhill, to reports of two cars being ablaze in the early hours of this morning.
The crew from Bexhill Fire Station managed to get the fire under control by 4am.
Fire investigators have deemed the fire to have been started deliberately.
A spokesman for Sussex Police said: "Police are investigating the cause of a car fire in Downlands Avenue, Bexhill-on-Sea, which occurred between 3am and 3.30am on Wednesday (20 August), after being advised by firefighters in attendance that deliberate ignition was suspected.
"Another vehicle nearby may also have been damaged."
