Zoe Ball and Norman Cook have joined in a trending and bone-chilling fundraising appeal.
Brighton and Hove’s best-known couple became the latest celebrities to take on the ice-bath challenge for Macmillan Cancer Support and the Motor Neurone Disease Association following in the footsteps of Lady Gaga, Oprah Winfrey and Cristiano Ronaldo.
The couple took the challenge on Tuesday night at their Hove home and posted the outcome on Zoe’s new Off Air channel on YouTube.
They then nominated actors Eddie Redmayne and Jamie Dornan and cricketer Stuart Broad to take on the challenge.
Zoo manager at Drusillas Sue Woodgate also took on the icy challenge. She said: “Our staff were really keen that we got involved and I suspect seeing me covered in cold water was a little incentive for them too.”
To support the fundraising text ICED55 £5 to 70070.
