A £1,000 reward has been offered for the return of a stolen Rolex watch.

The gold Rolex Submariner worth £18,000 is among goods stolen in a spate of burglaries in Rustington and Littlehampton.

Six homes were burgled between the evening of Sunday August 10 and the morning of Wednesday August 13.

Intruders stole the watch from a home in the The Martlets, Rustington, between midnight and 8am on 13 August along with two iPhones, a red Olympus Stylus VG-180 camera, a back handbag containing around £130 and a black leather wallet containing more than £1,000.

Police believe the same people are responsible for two burglaries and one attempted burglary in The Gilberts; one attempted burglary in Sea Lane, Rustington, on August 10 or early August 11; and one burglary in in Woodlands Road, Littlehampton, late August 11 or early August 12.

The owner of the stolen Rolex watch has offered a £1,000 reward for information that leads to the return of the watch and the arrest and conviction of whoever is responsible.

Police are appealing for information.
