Beachy Head
A BODY recovered from the foot of cliffs has been identified as that of a missing Sussex man
Douglas Gardner from Scaynes Hill was reported missing from his home in Church Road on Thursday August 14.
His car was found parked on Beachy Head Road near Belle Tout Lighthouse later that day.
A member of the public spotted a body on Monday morning. It was later recovered by HM Coastguard.
Mr Gardner's family has been informed.
