The beautiful game turned bubbly as children took part in a football match with a difference.
Fun five-a-side sessions of “bubble football” were held at Hassocks leisure centre as players wore body zorb suits to add a little extra bounce.
The games were fully supervised and professionally refereed.
Kathy Colman, from Freedom Leisure, which runs the centre, said: “Bubble bounce football is a brand new concept and players should come prepared for fun as this is one game of football that really can't be taken too seriously.
“There is no doubt that wearing a body zorb suit will make seeing the ball a challenge, let alone kicking it in the right direction.”
The sessions were divided into age groups, with one for eight to 15-year-olds and two for those aged 16 and older.
