AUTHOR Jenny McLachlan got into the swing of things as a book festival continued its successful run.
The Eastbourne writer, whose debut novel Flirty Dancing is set in Brighton, danced a jive during the Big Summer Read 2014.
The two-week extravaganza at Churchill Square shopping centre in Brighton has had children of all ages flocking to listen to their favourite stories and meeting some of the authors.
Guest writers and starts have included Sid Sloane from Cbeebies and Chris Bradford, author of the Young Samurai series.
The event finishes this weekend there will be a range of activities going on at the centre today and tomorrow from 11am to 4pm.
