Residents nominate 'wasteland' to prevent building on green fields
Residents have nominated “wastes of space” to be built on to stop bulldozers moving on to green fields.
Anston House in Preston Road, Brighton, a plot in Windsor Street, Brighton next to the Earth and Stars pub, the Dodman Shoreham Works limestone quarry and a row of empty shops in Elmer Way near Middleton are nominated.
The Campaign to Protect Rural England wants ‘brownfield’ sites inside cities built on.
