A PROSPECTIVE MP revealed he has received a pot of homemade damson jam and a birthday cake as gifts.

Conservative parliamentary candidate for Hove Graham Cox has declared the gifts he has received so far along the election trail on his newly-launched campaign website.

The Westbourne councillor said he attended the inauguration of the 18th Hove Scouts at the Coptic Church in Davigdor Road, Hove, on July 21 where he enjoyed a meal cooked by the church community, some cake for his birthday and a gift of a glass paperweight worth under £10.
