Green-fingered teenagers did a blooming marvellous job gardening for charity.
Albion in the Community volunteers donned their shovels and spades to work in the Friends of Brighton and Hove Hospitals Trust garden in Brighton on Thursday.The local group, all aged 15 to 16, were joined by mayor of Brighton and Hove Brian Fitch – pictured testing out a pair of hedgetrimmers – at the Royal Sussex County Hospital (RSCH).
The trust, formerly known as the League of Friends, fundraises to provide both specialist and innovative equipment at the RSCH.
The charity is celebrating 64 years fundraising for the NHS.
