A £1,000 reward has been offered for the return of a stolen Rolex watch.

The gold Rolex Submariner, worth £18,000, is among goods stolen in a spate of burglaries in Rustington and Littlehampton.

Six homes were burgled between the evening of August 10 and the morning of August 13.

Intruders stole the watch from a home in the The Martlets, Rustington, between midnight and 8am on 13 August, along with two iPhones, a red Olympus Stylus VG-180 camera, a black handbag containing around £130 and a black leather wallet containing more than £1,000.

Police believe the same people are responsible for two burglaries and one attempted burglary in The Gilberts, one attempted burglary in Sea Lane, Rustington, on August 10 or early August 11, and one burglary in Woodlands Road, Littlehampton, late August 11 or early August 12.

The owner of the stolen Rolex watch has offered a £1,000 reward for information that leads to the return of the watch and the arrest and conviction of whoever is responsible.

Police are appealing for information.
