Plea to save sanctuary for animals
A petition has been launched in a bid to save an animal sanctuary.
Stanmer Horses owner Danny Cross remains in discussions with Brighton and Hove City Council’s site managers Smith Gore over the terms of an extended lease on the site after setting up a sanctuary for horses last year.
A petition calling on the council to allow Mr Cross to operate at the Stanmer Park stables is available to sign in the shop, book stall and church in Stanmer village.
