Police are hunting a prowler who has been spotted peeking into flats.

Officers in Seaford are appealing for information after the man was seen on August 21.

A resident of Avondale Court disturbed him trying to look in through a partly opened window at around 10.20pm. He also pressed his face against other windows, trying to look in.

The man is described as aged 18-25, white and of slim build.

Sergeant Stuart Mullins, of Seaford Police, said: "So far we have only had one report and this might be an isolated incident.

"We don't know whether this is just somebody messing about or whether it is more sinister.

"However, we do take this sort of report very seriously and would like to hear from anyone who may know the man concerned or who has seen anybody acting suspiciously in the area."

Anyone with information should call police on 101 or email 101@sussex.pnn.police.uk quoting serial 1652 of 21/8.
