Graham Cosham, 56, of Mackie Avenue, Brighton, pleaded guilty to two counts of sending, by a public electronic communications network, a message that was grossly offensive or of an indecent, obscene or menacing character. He was given a six-month supervision order, ordered to pay a £60 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Brett James Nasse, 58, of Prestonville Road, Brighton, pleaded guilty to possessing diamorphine. Fined £110 and ordered to pay a £20 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Darren Newington, 46, of Houghton Road, Brighton, pleaded guilty to drink-driving, driving without insurance and driving without a licence. Fined £500 and ordered to pay a £25 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Banned from driving for 40 months.

Martin Philip Thomas, 27, of Birdham Road, Brighton pleaded guilty to damaging a motorbike. Fined £73 and ordered to pay £85 compensation, £20 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Siobhan Nicola Josephine Bonner, 38, of North Road, Brighton, pleaded guilty to drunk and disorderly behaviour and possessing cannabis. Given a 12-month conditional discharge, ordered to pay £15 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Roger Samuel Cooper, 38, of Terminus Road, Brighton, pleaded guilty to possessing cannabis and stealing meat worth £12.98 from Morrison’s. Fined £73 and ordered to pay a £20 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Christopher John Hussey, 32, of Oriental Place, Brighton, pleaded guilty to stealing Hugo Boss fragrance and other items, value unknown, from Superdrug, two packets of rump steak, one of rib-eye steak and two packets of sirloin, worth £72.32, from Marks and Spencer and two cans of alcohol, worth £4.38, from Co-op. Fined £37 plus £20 victim surcharge and £120 costs.

Paige Joyce, 36, of Village Barn, Patcham, Brighton, pleaded guilty to driving while disqualified and driving without insurance. Jailed for 16 weeks suspended for 18 months. Ordered to take part in 20 Inspire sessions, pay £80 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Licence endorsed with eight points.

Thomas Mark Rusling, 25, of Mayflower Square, New England Street, Brighton, pleaded guilty to having 18.1 grams of cocaine, a quantity of cannabis and obstructing a constable. Offence committed while on a suspended sentence for possessing a Class B drug. Fined £770 plus £85 costs and £33 victim surcharge.

Christopher Villiers, 49, of Trafalgar Street, Brighton, pleaded guilty to two counts of damaging a dark blue Golf car. Ordered to do 120 hours’ unpaid work, pay £300 compensation, £60 victim surcharge and £85 costs.
