Harley Line, 23, of Bruce Avenue, West Worthing, pleaded guilty to drink-driving. He was fined £110 and ordered to pay a £20 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Banned from driving for 14 months, reduced by 14 weeks if they complete an approved driving course.
Sofik Miah, 43, of Dominion Road, Worthing, pleaded guilty to failing to disclose a bank account when submitting forms for housing benefit and council tax benefit and failing to notify the local authority when receiving extra income. Ordered to do 120 hours’ unpaid work, pay £60 victim surcharge and £2,000 costs.
Stacey Lee Dougan, 22, of Montague Street, Worthing, pleaded guilty to possessing cannabis and resisting a constable doing his duty. Also admitted committing a further offence while under a suspended sentence. Given a supervision requirement until August 3, 2015. Ordered to pay £60 victim surcharge and £85 costs.
Georgina Amira Garsallah, 26, of Normandy Road, Broadwater, Worthing, pleaded guilty to four counts of stealing grocery items worth £63.50, £53.20, £37 and £39.80 from Marks and Spencer in Montague Street, Worthing, grocery items worth £92.08 from Sainsbury’s in Epsom and failing to answer bail. Given a 12-month conditional discharge, ordered to pay £21.42 compensation plus £10 victim surcharge and £85 costs.
