A city councillor has been named on a new national body.
Brighton and Hove Conservative group leader Councillor Geoffrey Theobald has been chosen by his peers to be a member of an influential new Local Government Association body.
Coun Theobald has been selected to sit on the new environment, economy, housing and transport board, which will promote the role of local councils in supporting sustainable economic growth across the country.
