A senior manager is taking on a gruelling bike ride for charity.
Simon Briggs from Horsham will be one of 20 colleagues from Lloyds Banking Group cycling from Lands End to John O'Groats.
Proceeds from the 969 mile challenge will go to the Alzheimer's Society.
The team will leave next Saturday and expect to take nine days to finish.
Mr Briggs, 52, said: “I understand from friends and family the impact on affected individuals and their families that dementia can have, just how widespread it is, and how much difference can be made by effective care.”
