A PETITION for drinking fountains in Brighton and Hove’s parks and gardens has gained more than 100 signatures.

The petition by city councillor Ben Duncan calls on the local authority and Southern Water to provide free drinking water for residents in the city.

Coun Duncan said the move will save money for residents and reduce waste. To sign the petition visit tinyurl.com/ lorzfp8.

Free?
The council will have to recoup this cost from somewhere through tax.
Therefore these free water fountains that 0.05% of Brighton and hove want will end up costing the Brighton and hove tax payers.
Just bring a drink from home if you're so concerned.
Who's going to want to drink out of a fountain that a tramp urinated in the day before anyway?
