A herd of cows caused chaos after they escaped onto a busy road.
Police were called to Roedean Way, Brighton, shortly after midday after drivers reported around 40 cows in the road.
A Sussex Police spokeswoman said: “The farmer was called and he had them back in the field at 12.38pm.”
The breakout follows a similar incident in December last year.
Back then 40 cows were spotted pottering along a residential street in Roedean, Someone from nearby Roedean School spotted them on CCTV as they strolled around the edge of the private school.
