Sir Paul McCartney has called for voters to keep Scotland in the UK.
The former Beatle, who lives in Peasmarsh, added his name to an open letter compiled by a host of showbiz and sports stars urging Scots to reject the calls for independence.
The 72-year-old also has a cottage on the Mull of Kintyre.
Others to have signed the list include Sir Mick Jagger, Sir Bruce Forsyth, Dame Judi Dench and Simon Cowell.
Scottish people will vote on independence on September 18.
