Lewis Lawn, 38, of Quilter Road, Basingstoke, admitted drink driving in Elder Place, Brighton. He was fined £700 and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £370 and £85 costs. He was also banned from driving for 12 months.

Christopher Mobsby, 59, of Rogerstown, Holtye Common, Edenbridge, Kent, admitted failing to comply with the conditions of his shotgun certificate by not storing his gun securely. He also admitted an assault by beating in Holtye. He was fined a total of £500 and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £60 and £85 costs. He was also given a six month supervision order.

Tony Pedvin, 45, of no fixed abode, admitted breaching an order to keep a dog under proper control. He was given a 12 month conditional discharge and ordered to pay a £15 victim surcharge and £50 costs.

Benjamin Chapman, 35, of Tonbridge Road, Wateringbury, Maidstone, Kent, admitted possessing 1.1 grams of cocaine. He was also found guilty of driving a Ford Fiesta in Church Road, Crowborough Hill, without a licence or insurance, taking a car without consent and drink driving. He was given a 200 hour community order, banned from driving for 12 months and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £60 and £250 costs.

Razvan-Ioan Banut, 18, of Upper Stone Street, Maidstone, admitted stealing five bottles of Jack Daniels worth £115 from Sainsbury’s in Eastbourne and possessing a rucksack lined with foil intended for use in a theft. He was sentenced to eight weeks in a young offenders’ institution.
