A woman had her hair pulled and a teenager struck on the head in a random street attack.

The 57-year-old woman and a 16-year-old girl were both attacked near to Debenhams in Robertson Street, Hastings, at about 1pm last Wednesday.

The victims of the unprovoked attack were strangers to each other.

A 27-year-old woman, from Hastings, has been arrested on suspicion of affray and possession of cannabis and released on bail until Friday September 26.
