KIND-hearted football fans gave more than £1,200 to charity at Saturday’s game at the Amex.

Staff from the club’s Albion in the Community (AITC) and disabled children held a bucket collection outside the ground before the game against Charlton.

The collection was part of AITC’s year-long appeal for 20-year-old Jadey Yesilada, who suffers from cerebral palsy.

The appeal, Jadey’s Dream, will raise money for young disabled sports fans.

Millie Lanz, fundraising and events manager at AITC, said of Jadey: “He is incredible.

“We will be raising money all year and Jadey will be at the heart of it.

“We hope to get him doing the marathon, abseiling down a building and one of our members of staff wants to throw him out a plane.”

Jadey also plays for AITC’s powerchair football team and speaks at events.
