OPPONENTS to the sale of an old school site will meet tomorrow.
The site of St Anne’s School, in Lewes, is due to be sold to spiritual group Subud by East Sussex County Council, for community use.
Opponent said St Anne’s site should be used for housing.
The Argus has previously reported on the controversy surrounding the bidding, which saw two other parties turned down, even though their bids were higher.
Councillor Rosalyn St Pierre says the sale should be delayed until residents’ concerns have been addressed.
Tomorrow’s meeting in the council chamber of Lewes Town Hall starts at 7.30pm.
