Supported bus services in East Sussex are under threat.
The county council proposes to cut £1.8 million from its transport budget over two years which will have a devastating effect in some areas.
Many rural bus services could be cut from six days a week to just two days and others halved in frequency.
Local services in Lewes could also be cut as well as the evening service on Brighton & Hove routes 28/29 to Ringmer, Uckfield and Tunbridge Wells.
We urge bus users to object to their local councillors and MPs and to respond to the consultation which closes on 28 September at www.eastsussex.gov.uk/haveyoursay.
