Man found dead at foot of cliffs named
POLICE have identified a man found dead on a beach yesterday afternoon. (15/9)
Sussex Police were called to Beachy Head, near Eastbourne, after a rucksack was found at Lighthouse Point shortly after noon.
A man’s body was later found at the foot of the cliffs and was recovered by the coastguard.
The man has been identified as 24-year-old Thomas Meyer, of Ashford Drive, Appleton, Cheshire.
An inquest will be opened and adjourned on a date still to be set.
