HUNDREDS of people are queuing up to buy the latest iPhone.

People have been queuing since 3am to be the first to buy the iPhone 6, launched today.

Queues of up to 400 are reported outside the Apple store in Churchill Square, Brighton, which opened at 8am.

Josh Bishop, 21, caught the train from Hassocks this morning to queue up from shortly after 6am.

He said: "I get a new one every two years. I like having things first.

"We are outside the Costa Coffee inside now - they have moved everyone inside and queue is around the whole top area of this wing of Churchill Square.

"People are being quite friendly. I have not seen any tension."
