LOYAL workers have been recognised for their long-service.
Lewes-based Southdown provides a range of care support and housing services for more than 9,500 vulnerable people across Sussex each year.
A celebratory event was held to thank 20 employees which have worked with the company for more than 10 years, and four who have reached 20 years.
Southdown’s Chief Executive, Neil Blanchard, hosted the event at which Each employee was presented with a gift and a celebratory booklet highlighting their contribution.
Chief executive Neil Blanchard, who has been at the not for profit organisation for 14 years, said: “We have supported staff through their careers offering a family friendly culture and the flexibility to balance their work and home lives.
In return, their commitment and contribution over the years has been invaluable and a key factor in enabling us to grow and develop the care and support we provide to help vulnerable people across Sussex live their lives to the full.”
