A singer has made his acting debut in a new drama described as Broadchurch meets Skins.

Jordan Stephens from Brighton group Rizzle Kicks stars as Rob Kendle in E4 drama Glue.

In an interview the 22-year-old said he was nervous ahead of the first episode but was delighted with the result.

He also admitted fearing he would be out of his depth but added he enjoyed the experience of making the eight episode programme.

Mr Stephens shot to fame in 2011 along side other half of Rizzle Kicks Harley Sylvester Alexander-Sule.

The pair toured the world with songs including Down With The Trumpets and Mama Do The Hump.

The show is a gritty teen murder mystery set in iconic English Countryside. The first episode aired on September 15 on E4.

The second episode will air on Monday evening (September 22).
