Firefighters battle kitchen blaze
Fire crews were called in the early hours of this morning to a fire in a first floor kitchen.
The firefighters from East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service attended the scene at Princes Crescent in Brighton at 1am.
The occupants of the property managed to get out before the crews arrived.
Two fire engines from the nearby fire station attended and they managed to get the blaze under control.
The fire is being treated as accidental and no one is believed to have been injured.
