A 23-year-old woman has suffered serious head and leg injuries after she was thrown from her motorcycle with a car.
The crash occurred at the junction of the A270 Old Shoreham Road and the B2167 Southview Road, Southwick, on Monday
It happened just after 9am near roadworks and the motorcyclist, a 23-year-old woman, suffered serious head and leg injuries.
She had been riding a silver Suzuki GZ125cc. She was taken to hospital and detained for treatment.
The other vehicle involved was a silver Ford Fiesta, driven by a 35-year-old Shoreham woman, who was unhurt.
