A ROCK guitarist has been honoured with a bus being named after him following his funeral.
Brighton and Hove Buses has named one of its buses after Robert ‘Throb’ Young, the founder member of rock group Primal Scream, died at his home in Fourth Avenue, Hove, earlier this month.
The 251 Dennis Dart bus was unveiled last Tuesday to mark the guitarist’s funeral, with the words Not Classic written as the bus’s destination at the request of his former bandmates.
The bus was used to transport guests from the funeral at St Andrew’s Church in Church Road, Hove, to the wake held at The View in Western Esplanade in Hove.
