BRIGHTON’S Level was transformed into a magical place for the Lantern Fayre.
The free three-day art, music and literature festival ran from Friday October 3 to Sunday October 5, expanding from a one-day event in previous years due to additional funding from Arts Council England and Brighton and Hove city council.
Saturday’s weather seemed to put a dampener on the main day’s turnout but the live bands were full of praise for those dancing along under their umbrellas.
The event celebrates the turning of the seasons and the themes and stories of harvest.
