A DALEK and every child's favourite pig joined walkers to raise money for a terminally ill teenager whose dream is to visit Italy. 
Friends and family took part in a sponsored walk from Hove Lagoon to the Palace Pier in Brighton to support Charlie Hilton on Saturday. 10/11
The 15-year-old has been battling a rare form of cancer for the past two years and is being treated with chemotherapy. 
But the cancer, called desmo plastic small round cell tumour, has returned for the third time but the Southwick teen is determined to live the rest of his life to the full. 
He is desperate to see the leaning Tower of Pisa and the Colosseum in Rome. 
But his condition means travel is problematic and expensive to insure and find the right means of travel and care. 
The Shoreham Academy student, of Butts Road, wants his mum Lynda, 49, and grandparents Dave and Pam Hilton to travel alongside him. 
A fundraising campaign called the Italian Job has already raised £10,000 and more sponsorship is expected after the event. 
Charlie, who is 16 this month, has recently become engaged to Molly Harper, 16, who he met in hospital while they were both having chemotherapy. They hope to wed next year.
