MARTIAL arts equipment was stolen from a car.

A black metal cash tin, £80 in coins and various blue martial arts certificates were also taken from the black Volkswagen Passat.

Police are appealing for information after the car was broken into in Ewhurst Road, Brighton.

Officers say a teenager ws seen interfering with the car at about midnight on Friday (October 10). The martial arts equipment was later found in Bear Road.

Police say the suspect is white, 16 to 18 and about 5' 6", with blonde hair.

He is described as clean shaven and was wearing a black hooded Adidas top with white stripes on the arms and a black Puffa-style body warmer.
