Oliver Adam Hicks, 38, of Firle Crescent, Lewes. Admitted driving a Volvo V70 on the A277, Lewes Priory, Lewes, while over the legal drink-drive limit. He was fined £220 and ordered to pay victim surcharge of £22 and pay costs of £85. He was also disqualified from driving for 12 months.

Jean Claude Louis, 32, of Horsfield Road, Lewes. Admitted driving on Pellbrook Road, Lewes, at more than three times the legal drink drive limit. He was given a six month supervision order and ordered to pay victim surcharge of £60 and costs of £85. He was disqualified from driving for 24 months.

Wayne Daniel Leyh, 32, of HMP Lewes, Brighton Road, Lewes, pleaded guilty to stealing a bike worth £1,290 at Hove Railway Station. Sentenced to four weeks in prison.

Muhammed Ashfaq, 32, c/o Lewes Prison, Brighton Road, Lewes, was found guilty of sending a letter to the home address of a female victim. He was fined £100 and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £20.

Marcus George Skillern, 19, of Church Lane, Lewes, admitted driving a Renault Megane on the M23 northbound while unfit to drive through drugs. He will sentenced at a future date.

Peter John Andrew French, 48, of Newick Drive, Newick, Lewes. Admitted using threatening, abusive words of behaviour. He was given a 12 month conditional discharge, ordered to pay victim surcharge of £15 and £85 of costs.

Andrew Wragge, 47, of Vale Road, Seaford. Was found guilty of driving his Rover nearly three times over the drink driving limit. He was fined £165 and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £20 and costs of £100. He was also disqualified from driving for 12 months.

Austin Phillip Culbertson, 39, of Haven Brow, Seaford, pleaded guilty to assault by beating in Churchill Square Shopping Centre, Brighton. Ordered to attend an alcohol treatment course, given a curfew for four weeks and 12 months supervision. Ordered to pay £50 compensation, £60 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Billy Boorer, 19, of South Way, Newhaven. Admitted being drunk and disorderly in South Road and Newhaven Square, Newhaven. He was fined £135, ordered to pay costs of £85 and to pay victim surcharge of £20.

Hannah Springall, 29, of Hawthorn Rise, Newhaven, admitted stealing £153.30 worth of clothes from Primark in Western Road, Brighton. She was given a one year conditional discharge and ordered to pay a £15 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Matthew Carl Smart, 26, of Rowe Avenue, North, Peacehaven, pleaded guilty to criminal damage and assaulting a police officer. Ordered to pay £210 compensation, £80 victim surcharge. Committed the offence while on a suspended sentence for assault. Jailed for 18 weeks.

Matthew Warren Little, 31, of South Coast Road, Peacehaven, pleaded guilty to drink-driving. Fined £100 plus £20 victim surcharge and £300 costs. Banned from driving for 12 months, reduced by three months if completes an approved driving course.
