POLICE are appealing for witnesses to a suspected fight between two men last month.

The incident happened outside the Devonshire Bar and Lounge, in Devonshire Road, at the junction with Endwell Road in Bexhill.

The incident happened at approximately 11.55pm on Friday, September 5. Sussex Police has only today released this appeal for information. 

PC Laura Deacon said: "It has been reported to us that one of the men may have been assaulted, and we have no record of this at present.

"We are asking that man to come forward so that at least we can ensure that he is safe and well.

"We'd also like to hear from anyone else who was in the area and saw what happened."
