DOZENS of men and boys of all ages took to the seafront to help raise money for charity.
About 55 people took part in the annual Only Men Allowed fundraising walk in aid of the Martlets Hospice in Hove.
It is the male-only equivalent of the popular women’s Martlets Midnight Walk which was held earlier this year.
Men started and finished at the Sussex County Cricket Ground in Hove on Sunday and made their way to Saltdean and back for the 13-mile route.
Those who opted for a shorter course turned around at the Palace Pier in Brighton.
Organisers said the event should raise more than £7,000 for the hospice.
Event manager Antonia Shepherd said: “The hospice would like to thank all those men who took part and those people that have sponsored them to do so. It is another example of how members of the local community want to help the Martlets deliver its much-needed services.”
