Free bike-marking in Eastbourne next week
POLICE will be offering free bike-marking so bikes can be traced if they are stolen or lost.
Officers will give each bike a unique marking so that police officers, shops and potential buyers of second-hand bicycles will be able to check within minutes if it is stolen or in the wrong hands.
They will be at the entrance of the Winter Garden, Compton Street, Eastbourne, between 11.30am and 2pm on Tuesday (October 28).
An email addres and proof of ID will be required to take part.
