A MOTHER has quit her job to enter competitions full-time after raking in £250,000 of prizes.

Di Coke chucked in her freelance graphic designer job and work-from-home social media manager role to spend her days trying to win contests.

The 40-year-old, who lives near Preston Park in Brighton, spends about two hours a day entering about 400 competitions a week, which brings in £15,000 a year.

Mrs Coke got the bug after winning an all-expenses-paid trip to Iceland 17 years ago and began blogging about her successes – offering tips to other ‘compers’ on her blog Superlucky.me.

Speaking to The Argus during a family holiday in Lanzarote yesterday, she said: “I realised it was an experience money couldn’t buy and I wanted more.

“My winnings fund luxury treats, not everyday essentials, but I do win lots of clothing and supermarket vouchers.”

Some of her most lavish winnings include a £13,000 VW Beetle, £7,500 in cash, VIP Glastonbury tickets and a butler for the weekend worth £500.

Mrs Coke even managed to furnish her home, where she lives with husband Rob, 42, and their four-year-old son Ryland, through her winnings.

Some prizes have been won in Sussex but she is yet to win a competition in The Argus. She says she will keep trying.

She used her local knowledge to bag a free holiday to New York – her fourth so far – with Gatwick Airport by entering a photo competition.

Entrants were asked to submit an American themed picture of themselves – so she visited JB’s Diner, in King’s Road, Brighton, for the perfect backdrop.

She said: “I’ve won a lot of photo contests with a snap of Brighton seafront.”
