LOTTERY organisers surprised Brighton residents with a pre-festive treat of cash prizes.
Brighton local Louisa Marchant, who received a cheque for £1,000, was just one of many left feeling flush after receiving an unexpected cash bonus from organisers GeoLotto.com.
In total, thousands of pounds was given away in a matter of hours in a random giveaway of cash prizes.
The generosity was designed to mark the launch of the new online draw game, GeoLotto.com, which offers players the chance to compete for a £1 million prize.
The new game allows players to claim a piece of Britain from football stadiums, famous landmarks or a humble backyard, which is then entered into a weekly prize draw.
