A TEENAGE cyclist knocked over a pedestrian and rode off.

The 57-year-old victim suffered a fractured wrist after the 13-year-old riding a stunt bike struck her on the pavement in St Leonards.

The woman was assisted by members of the public after the incident when she was leaving Vantage Pharmacy in Bohemia Road at about 12.50pm on Thursday, October 16.

The boy stopped briefly but then rode off without leaving any details.

PC Barry Freeman said: "The only description we currently have for the boy is that he was white and about 13. He was following another boy who was also on a bike.

"We need to speak to the boy about what happened. If you know who or where he is, please contact us.

"Although this happened a few weeks ago, I'm sure anyone who saw the incident would remember it and I would urge them to come forward."
