HOSPICE supporters donned their Santa suits to raise money for the charity.

More than 350 people took part in the St Catherine’s Hospice Santa Run at Horsham Park.

Families, friends, seasoned sprinters and casual runners made a colourful sight as they made their way around the 4km route.

The hospice, based in Crawley, cares for terminally ill people and their families across north Sussex.

Hospice events fundraiser Louise Brown said: “It will cost £180,000 for the hospice to provide free, vital care for people when they need it most.

“Having more than 350 Santas join us at Horsham Park with the aim of helping the charity is fantastic and it will be a huge help in raising the money we need.”

Another 2km Santa race is being held at the K2 leisure centre in Crawley today.

People can enter on the day at £15 for adults and £8 for under 16s.
