A HOSPICE has been celebrating the loyalty, dedication and hard work of its staff and volunteers.
More than 70 people were recognised during a special long service award ceremony held at the Martlets Hospice in Wayfield Avenue, Hove.
Brighton and Hove mayor Brian Fitch joined hospice chief executive Imelda Glackin and chairman of trustees Michael Edwards for the event.
Awards were given out for five, 10, 15 and 20 years of service.
The hospice supports terminally ill people and their families in and around Brighton and Hove and relies on the support of the community to keep its vital services going.
Volunteers carry out a wide range of jobs including manning reception, driving patients to and from the hospice, working in the grounds or helping out in one of its charity shops.
